I have a PhD in social science and currently work in research. My doctoral research focused on the experiences of residents being displaced due to public housing estate redevelopment. I worked for almost a decade as a researcher at UTS, where I conducted research a range of issues relating to sustainability and urban transitions. Recently, I have worked as a Research Fellow at University of Wollongong.
I am a yoga teacher and currently teach classes at Younga Yoga Studio in Wollongong, Pilates Haus Fairy Meadow, and Fernwood Women’s Fitness Club in Woonona.
I have served as a member of the Radical Housing Journal’s Extended Collective, and a non-fiction reader for Overland. My writing has been published in Meanjin, Overland, The Conversation, Commotion, and The Lifted Brow, among other publications.
